PCSI is delighted to welcome four new social work interns who joined us in September 2025. Each brings a unique set of experiences, skills, and passions to their roles, and we are excited to see the impact they will have on our programs and the communities we serve.
Danielle MacConnell

Danielle is pursuing dual Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Criminology at Chatham University, where she is expected to graduate in 2026. She has earned certificates in Forensic Social Work, Social Emotional and Behavioral Wellness, and Women’s Leadership, and currently serves as both a Resident Assistant and a Safety Committee Student Representative on campus.
Dylan Fearing

Dylan is a University of Pittsburgh student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with graduation anticipated in 2026. His dedication to service is evident in his volunteer work with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and his recognition as a Congressional Award Silver Medal recipient in October 2024.
Miranda McIntee

Miranda brings valuable professional experience to her internship from her role as a Direct Support Professional at Wesley Family Services, where she has worked closely with individuals with developmental and behavioral needs. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Chatham University, and expects to graduate in summer 2026.
Alexandria Zurawski

Alexandria Zurawski, a Social Work Intern from CCAC, is on track to graduate with an associate’s degree this year and plans to commence Carlow’s Social Work Program in January 2026. Her long-term ambition involves pursuing a master’s degree in social work at Widener University, with a specialization in human sexuality and sex therapy. Currently a surgical technologist with nearly ten years of experience, she is eager to transition to her new career path.
Interns at PCSI gain hands-on experience in human services while making a real difference in the lives of those we serve. We are thrilled to have Danielle, Dylan, Miranda, and Alexandria join our team this fall, and we look forward to the important contributions they will make during their time with us!
