Introducing The Next Step, PCSI’s New Monthly Newsletter

Posted on: July 9, 2026

Many people know PCSI for the monthly Housing List we publish, but as Pittsburgh’s Community Action Agency, we offer much more.

This summer, PCSI launched The Next Step, a new monthly newsletter designed to share information about PCSI programs, upcoming events, employment and training opportunities, community resources, success stories, and other updates that may be helpful to Pittsburgh and Allegheny County residents.

The newsletter was created as part of PCSI’s continued effort to expand the ways we share information with the community. PCSI is also now serving as a Neighborhood Employment Center (NEC) through the City of Pittsburgh, helping connect job seekers with employment services, job readiness support, workforce development opportunities, and other resources that support long-term stability.

Each issue of The Next Step will highlight timely information about PCSI services, upcoming workshops and hiring events, community outreach activities, and resources available through PCSI and partner organizations. The July issue includes information about PCSI’s role as a Neighborhood Employment Center, new Employment & Training Resources available on our website, upcoming PCSI events, community resource events, and more.

Most PCSI programs are available to Pittsburgh residents with household incomes at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, while some services are available throughout Allegheny County.

The July issue of The Next Step is now available on our Publications page.
