Pittsburgh Community Services, Inc. (PCSI) is seeking interest from community members who may be interested in serving on PCSI’s Board of Directors as a Customer Sector Representative.
PCSI is Pittsburgh’s federally designated Community Action Agency. We provide anti-poverty services and resources that support individuals, families, and communities as they work toward long-term stability. Our programs help customers with needs such as food assistance, utility support, employment preparation, reentry support, case management, and connections to community resources.
As a Community Action Agency, PCSI has a tripartite Board of Directors made up of representatives from the public sector, the community/business sector, and the customer sector. Customer Sector Representatives help ensure that the perspectives, needs, and experiences of the individuals, families, and communities that PCSI serves are included in board-level conversations and decision-making.
People who care about PCSI’s mission and want to help strengthen services for Pittsburgh residents are encouraged to complete the PCSI Board of Directors Interest Form.
