About the Health Resource Fair
On Thursday, July 20, Pittsburgh Community Services, Inc. (PCSI) partnered with Allegheny Health Network’s Center for Inclusion Health (AHN) and the Humane Health Coalition to host a Health Resource Fair at PCSI’s office on North Craig Street.
The event brought together neighbors, families, and their pets for a day of essential support and community connection, receiving services and resources aimed at improving health and stability.
Meeting Health Needs – For People and Pets

The fair offered accessible medical care for both humans and animals, ensuring that no one in the community had to go without quality care. Guests were able to:
- Receive health screenings and medical guidance from AHN providers
- Connect with resources for shelter, housing, and emergency support
- Access food and essential supplies
- Obtain care and vaccinations for their pets through the Humane Health Coalition
By addressing both personal and pet health, the fair underscored a simple but important truth: healthy families include healthy pets.
Strength in Partnership
This event was made possible through the collaboration of PCSI, AHN, and the Humane Health Coalition. Together, the partners worked to create a welcoming space where individuals facing hardship could find both immediate help and pathways to longer-term support.
Looking Ahead
PCSI is proud to support initiatives like the Health Resource Fair that make healthcare more accessible and inclusive for our neighbors. By partnering with organizations such as AHN and the Humane Health Coalition, we can better serve Pittsburgh residents and their families – both two-legged and four-legged alike.
