Pittsburgh Community Services, Inc. (PCSI) is proud to announce the release of our 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of growth, innovation, and continued commitment to supporting Pittsburgh households on their paths toward stability and opportunity.
Despite ongoing economic uncertainty and a challenging funding environment, PCSI expanded its impact in 2025 while reducing overall spending by 20%. Over the course of the year, PCSI served more than 1,000 households across Allegheny County, with 89% of customers living within the City of Pittsburgh.
The report highlights milestones and accomplishments across the organization, including:
- Launching the Roadmap economic mobility program
- Introducing PreEmployment Preparation (PrEP) School and expanding workforce development services
- Facilitating more than $202,000 in utility assistance for local households
- Distributing over $150,000 worth of food through the PCSI Food Pantry
- Expanding evening pantry hours to better serve working families
- Adding new training opportunities, including CPR/First Aid and ServSafe certification programs
- Strengthening partnerships to support parenting education, employment access, and community wellness
The report also shares stories and feedback from PCSI customers, including survey results showing that:
- 100% of respondents reported being treated with dignity and respect
- 96% said PCSI helped stabilize their situation
- 95% said they would recommend PCSI to others
