Posted on: July 17, 2026

This summer, PCSI is excited to participate in the Learn & Earn Program, administered by Partner4Work in collaboration with the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.

Learn & Earn provides summer job opportunities for young people ages 14 to 23, helping participants gain work experience, build professional skills, and explore future career pathways.

Through the program, PCSI is pleased to welcome Remone Thomas and Demetrius Warren as Learn & Earn Program Interns.

During their time with PCSI, Remone and Demetrius will have the opportunity to learn more about community-based services, employment support, food assistance, customer engagement, and the many ways PCSI helps individuals and families work toward greater stability. (I will link to some services web pages in this sentence.)

Summer employment programs like Learn & Earn give young people the chance to develop workplace skills, learn from professionals, and gain meaningful experience in a real work environment. They also give community organizations like PCSI an opportunity to introduce emerging workers to careers in human services, workforce development, and community action.

PCSI is proud to support programs that help young people explore their strengths, build confidence, and take steps toward future employment and career goals. Please join us in welcoming Remone and Demetrius to PCSI this summer!
