Food Pantry + Nutrition Support

Food pantry shelves full of grocery items

About the PCSI Food Pantry

PCSI’s Food Pantry is open to serve Pittsburgh residents Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm, at our North Craig Street Headquarters. Call us, email us, or just drop by and pick up nutritious groceries and healthy recipes!

Customers can receive assistance once per month. Bring grocery bags if you have them.

We also offer cooking demonstrations and nutrition workshops. Check our events calendar for more information.

What’s Needed to Use the PCSI Food Pantry

All pantry customers must complete an intake form once a year. If it’s your first time visiting the pantry, or the start of a new year, you must bring:

  • Photo ID for the head of household
  • Some form of identification for all other household members
  • Source and amount of income for all members of the household (collectively, you must meet income eligibility guidelines)
  • Proof of Pittsburgh residency

If you do not have income or are unhoused, you will have to sign an affidavit affirming that.
